Η Αθήνα εκβιάζεται - Επιχείρηση "χάος"

Με ένα άρθρο με τίτλο ‘Η Αθήνα εκβιάζεται’, το περιοδικό Foreign Policy υποστηρίζει πως οι δανειστές δημιουργώντας χάος, επιχειρούν να γονατίσουν τη χώρα, προκειμένου να επηρεάσουν το δημοψήφισμα αλλά και να επιδιώξουν μια αλλαγή κυβέρνησης.

«Αν και στις 11 Μαΐου ο Γερμανός υπουργός οικονομικών, Wolfgang Schäuble, δήλωνε υπέρμαχος ενός πιθανού ελληνικού δημοψηφίσματος, η αντίδρασή του ήταν τελείως διαφορετική όταν ο πρωθυπουργός τελικά ανακοίνωσε τη διεξαγωγή του δημοψηφίσματος της 5ης Ιουλίου, δίνοντας έτσι στο λαό το δικαίωμα να αποφασίσει αν δέχεται την τελευταία πρόταση των δανειστών. Οι θεσμοί σταμάτησαν τις διαπραγματεύσεις με την Αθήνα, σαμποτάρουν το δημοψήφισμα και θέτουν την Ελλάδα σε μια τροχιά ελέγχου ροής κεφαλαίου, πτώχευση και πιθανώς ακόμα και έξοδο από την ευρωζώνη. Δημοκρατία; Τι είναι αυτό;» αναφέρει χαρακτηριστικά ο αρθρογράφος του Foreign Policy.

Προσθέτει ακόμα ότι «Οι δανειστές προσπάθησαν να κατηγορήσουν τον Τσίπρα για τη διακοπή των διαπραγματεύσεων. Αλλά ήταν, ωστόσο, η επίμονη άρνησή τους να δώσουν στην Ελλάδα τη βοήθεια, που η καταπιεσμένη οικονομία της έχει τόσο ανάγκη, που έφερε τον Τσίπρα σε αδιέξοδο. Για μία βραχυχρόνια ένεση ρευστότητας, επέμεναν για χρόνια αυστηρής λιτότητας μεταμφιεσμένα ως ‘μεταρρυθμίσεις’».

«Η κινδυνολογία του GREXIT και η συναισθηματική συσχέτιση του να είσαι μέλος της μοντέρνας Ευρώπης και μέλος της Ευρωζώνης, θα μπορούσε να οδηγήσει τους Έλληνες να ψηφίσουν ΝΑΙ στους άδικους όρους των πιστωτών. Ωστόσο, οι θεσμοί τρέμοντας το αποτέλεσμα του δημοψηφίσματος, προσπάθησαν να αρνηθούν στους Έλληνες το δικαίωμα του λόγου. Απέρριψαν το αίτημα της ελληνικής κυβέρνησης για παράταση του προγράμματος το οποίο λήγει την Τρίτη 30 Ιούνη. Έτσι, όταν και αν οι Έλληνες ψηφίσουν στις 5 Ιουλίου, το πρόγραμμα θα έχει λήξει και με αυτό και η πρόταση των δανειστών, στην οποία βασίζεται άλλωστε και η ψηφοφορία.

Εμμένοντας στην πολιτική της πίεσης, η Ευρωπαϊκή Κεντρική Τράπεζα, στις 28 Ιουνίου αποφάσισε να μην αυξήσει το όριο ρευστότητας προς τις ελληνικές τράπεζες ώστε να καλύψουν τη διαρροή κεφαλαίων που πλήθυνε από τις αναλήψεις μες το Σαββατοκύριακο. Η κίνηση αυτή ώθησε την κυβέρνηση να κλείσει τις τράπεζες από τη Δευτέρα και να επιβάλλει έλεγχο κεφαλαίων προκειμένου να προλάβει μια μεγαλύτερη διαρροή που θα προκαλούσε την κατάρρευση του τραπεζικού συστήματος».

«Ο σκοπός των πιστωτών είναι ξεκάθαρος: να γονατίσουν τους Έλληνες» υπογραμμίζει ο αρθρογράφος. «Μία βδομάδα χωρίς πρόσβαση σε τραπεζικούς λογαριασμούς και με την πιθανότητα ενός GREXIT, ο λαός μπορεί να ωθηθεί να ψηφίσει ΝΑΙ στο δημοψήφισμα. Σε αυτήν την περίπτωση ο Τσίπρας έχει δεσμευτεί να ακολουθήσει τη βούληση του λαού και να υπογράψει. Ωστόσο, οι δανειστές επιμένουν πως δεν μπορούν να εμπιστευτούν ότι η παρούσα κυβέρνηση θα εφαρμόσει τους όρους της συμφωνίας. Στην πραγματικότητα η ατζέντα τους πιέζει για αλλαγή κυβέρνησης».

«Οι Έλληνες δεν πρέπει να καμφθούν από αυτές τις πρακτικές. Μες την επόμενη βδομάδα, ο Τσίπρας και η ομάδα του πρέπει να προετοιμάσουν προγράμματα που θα αντιμετωπίζουν τόσο μια πιθανή χρεοκοπία, όσο και την ανάγκη εισαγωγής ενός παράλληλου νομίσματος. Υπάρχει περίπτωση ένα επικείμενο ΟΧΙ στο δημοψήφισμα να επαναφέρει τους πιστωτές στα λογικά τους. Αν όχι, η χρεοκοπία και η έξοδος από το ευρώ - λόγω της αδυνατότητας να αποπληρωθούν τα 3,5 δις ευρώ στις 20 Ιουλίου στην ΕΚΤ - φαίνεται καλύτερη επιλογή από τη δουλεία του χρέους. Το GREXIT θα είναι επίπονο στην αρχή. Αλλά αναγκάζοντας την ελληνική κυβέρνηση να περιορίσει τις τραπεζικές αναλήψεις και να ελέγξει τις εκροές κεφαλαίων τώρα, οι πιστωτές προετοιμάζουν το έδαφος για μία πιο ομαλή απομάκρυνση από το ευρώ. Απελευθερωμένη από χρέη, με ένα πιο φτηνό νόμισμα και με μία μεγαλύτερη ελευθερία πολιτικών κινήσεων, η ελληνική οικονομία θα ανακάμψει σύντομα».

Τέλος, κλείνοντας τονίζει: «Το βασικό κίνητρο δημιουργίας του ευρώ ήταν η διασφάλιση πολιτικού ελέγχου πάνω στην τυραννία των αγορών. Αλλά η κατάληψη των θεσμών της ευρωζώνης από στενόμυαλους πιστωτές, αποδεικνύεται πολύ πιο τυραννική από οποιαδήποτε νομισματική κρίση. Τα όμορφα Ευρωπαϊκά ιδανικά της ειρήνης, της ευημερίας και της δημοκρατίας αντικαταστάθηκαν από βάρβαρες πολιτικές ισχύος».
