Στίγκλιτς: Η Ελλάδα είναι προάγγελος για όσα θα συμβούν και αλλού

“'Σήμερα, το πεδίο μάχης, το πεδίο μάχης των ιδεών και της οικονομικής δύναμης, είναι εδώ στην Ελλάδα. Δυστυχώς, το τι συμβαίνει σήμερα στην Ελλάδα, είναι ο προάγγελος του τι θα συμβεί και αλλού', σημείωσε και πρόσθεσε: 'Δυστυχώς, εσείς οι Έλληνες έχετε να κάνετε με την τρόικα. Και η τρόικα έχει σχεδιάσει το τρίτο μνημόνιο ώστε να αυξάνει την ανισότητα και να στρέφεται κατά των φτωχών. Όμως η Ελλάδα δεν είναι η μοναδική που αντιμετωπίζει αυτή τη συμπεριφορά'.”

Αλλά ο κ. Ομπάμα είπε 'όχι'. Πρέπει να σώσουμε τις τράπεζες να συνεχίσουν να κάνουν ό,τι και στο παρελθόν. Και μαντέψτε τι έχουμε δει τα πέντε χρόνια από τότε. Περισσότερη χειραγώγηση της αγοράς, περισσότερες καταχρηστικές πρακτικές. Κάθε μέρα ανοίγεις τους Financial Times ή κάθε άλλη εφημερίδα και διαβάζεις για ένα νέο μεγάλο τραπεζικό σκάνδαλο' τόνισε ο κ. Στίγκλιτς.”

“Ο νομπελίστας οικονομολόγος υποστήριξε επίσης, ότι αυτή την περίοδο, διεξάγεται μία μεγάλη μάχη αλλαγής των κανόνων που διέπουν την οικονομική πρακτική και την επικρατούσα οικονομική θεωρία.”


Μέσα σ'όλα αυτά όμως, υπάρχει και ο κίνδυνος μετάλλαξης της Αριστεράς. Ήδη, επιχειρείται απομάκρυνση της Αριστερής πλατφόρμας μέσα από την ψήφιση της συμφωνίας και οι δυνάμεις του καταστροφικού νεοφιλελευθερισμού θα επιχειρήσουν να κατασκευάσουν ένα πολιτικό υποκατάστατο, προκειμένου να ολοκληρώσουν το πείραμά τους και να το μεταφέρουν σε όλη την Ευρώπη.
