Ο Βαρουφάκης με πέντε κεφάλια

Ο Βαρουφάκης θα μας πήγαινε στη δραχμή, ο Βαρουφάκης ίσως να μας πήγαινε και στην αρχαία μνα. Ο Βαρουφάκης κατέστρεψε τη χώρα φορτώνοντάς της δισεκατομμύρια χρέος , ο Βαρουφάκης σκοτώνει παιδάκια και πουλάει τα όργανά τους, ο Βαρουφάκης είναι προδότης και δάχτυλος ξένων δυνάμεων. Ίσως ο Βαρουφάκης να είχε σκοτώσει και τον Κένεντυ αν δεν ήταν μόλις δύο χρόνων την ημέρα της δολοφονίας του.

Ο Γιάνης Βαρουφάκης παρελαύνει με εφτά κεφάλια στις φυλλάδες της διαπλοκής. Περάστε κόσμε. Αυτή η δύσμοιρη χώρα καταστράφηκε γιατί τη θέση του Αλογοσκούφη, του Παπαθανασίου, του Παπακωνσταντίνου, του Βενιζέλου και του Στουρνάρα πήρε ο Βαρουφάκης. Γι αυτό καταστράφηκε.

Παρακολουθώ με πραγματική έκπληξη τη μετατροπή του Βαρουφάκη σε σάκο του μποξ. Τον κανιβαλισμό που ξεδιψά με την αναφορά στο όνομά του και συμπεριλαμβάνω τον συντροφικό κανιβαλισμό. Η Αριστερά στο όνομα πάντα του μεγάλου σκοπού και των ακόμη πιο μεγάλων ιδεών, συνηθίζει να καταναλώνει τις σάρκες της, να ονοματίζει με ευκολία προδότη έναν Καραγιώργη ή ένα Ηλία Ηλιού όταν δεν συμφωνεί μαζί του. Αυτός ο βαμπιρικός κομματικός ζήλος είναι πάντα ένα βολικό υποκατάστατο για την Αριστερά που προτιμά να βρει έναν προδότη της στιγμής, από το να στραφεί μέσα της.

Οι λέξεις αυτές δεν γράφονται για να υπερασπιστώ το Γιάνη Βαρουφάκη, ο οποίος αποτελεί ένα ιστορικό πρόσωπο που θα κριθεί πιο σκληρά απ ό,τι ίσως υπολογίζει ο ίδιος, αλλά γιατί στη χώρα αυτή που πέρασαν προδότες και άθλιοι, διαπλεκόμενοι και διεφθαρμένοι, για μια ακόμη φορά τον ταμπουρά τον χτυπάνε τα Μέσα της διαπλοκής και χορεύει η διάθεσή μας να βρούμε κάποιον να φταίει για όλα. Ο Βαρουφάκης δεν έκρυψε τη λίστα Λαγκάρντ, δεν νομιμοποίησε διεφθαρμένο χρήμα, δεν έκανε νόμους για να φάνε και να πιούνε οι εθνικοί εργολάβοι, δεν πείραξε τα στατιστικά στοιχεία, δεν αντάλλαξε την ολιγόμηνη θητεία του με εξυπηρετήσεις. Έφτασε στην Ελλάδα από το εξωτερικό όπου δίδασκε ως καθηγητής, έπαιξε ρόλο στην εκλαΐκευση του προβλήματος της λιτότητας για τη χώρα και διαπραγματεύτηκε ως υπουργός Οικονομικών με τον τρόπο που αντιλαμβανόταν.

Έξι μήνες μετά, ο Βαρουφάκης μετατρέπεται από λαϊκό ήρωα σε σάκο του μποξ. Όσοι έκλαιγαν μπροστά στα κλειστά ΑΤΜ (ναι ακόμη και αυτά της Βουλής) σηκώνουν το δάχτυλο και δείχνουν το Βαρουφάκη. Άρα εκ των πραγμάτων φαντάζουν οι ίδιοι σωστοί. Ανοίγουν το στόμα τους και είναι έτοιμοι να συναινέσουν σε κάθε θεωρία συνωμοσίας που έχει στο επίκεντρο το Βαρουφάκη.Πολλές φορές οι ίδιοι οι σύντροφοί του, που επιστρέφουν χαιρέκακα τη δική τους αδυναμία με χολή.

Ανήκω στην κατηγορία εκείνων που πιστεύουν πως ο Γιάνης και ο Δραγασάκης και ο Τσακαλώτος και πολλοί άλλοι δεν διαπραγματεύτηκαν με τον καλύτερο τρόπο. Όχι γιατί ήταν προδότες, αλλά μόνοι σε ένα σκληρό τοπίο πρωτόγνωρο για όλους. Διαπραγματεύτηκαν όμως, δεν παρέδωσαν τα κλειδιά της χώρας. Τα λάθη τους ή οι αδυναμίες τους ήταν στην πολιτική δράση και όχι στην υποτελή απραξία.

Οι φυλλάδες ψάχνουν κάθε μέρα ένα θέμα Βαρουφάκη για να αποδομήσουν τον ίδιο αλλά κυρίως για να χρεώσουν σιωπηλά το ΣΥΡΙΖΑ. Κάθε φορά που ονομάζουν τον Γιάνη προδότη ή ανάξιο ή καταστροφικό, παίρνουν τη γραμμή της ευθύνης από τις κυβερνήσεις δεκαετιών για να τη μεταφέρουν στο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ. Ξαναγράφουν την ιστορία με υπεύθυνο του εγκλήματος το Βαρουφάκη άρα τον Τσίπρα. Μόνο που τα βέλη στον Τσίπρα θα πέσουν όταν καθιερωθεί η άποψη πως φταίει ο Βαρουφάκης.

Σε αυτό το παιχνίδι συμμετέχουν από πολιτική ανωριμότητα και ίσως από ζήλια σύντροφοί του. Κατηγορούν, χαρακτηρίζουν , τεμαχίζουν το Βαρουφάκη παίρνοντας πίσω τη δόξα που έκλεψε από αυτούς τους οικοπεδούχους και ιδιοκτήτες του κόμματος ο ξένος εισβολέας με τα περίεργα πουκάμισα και τις αμερικανιές.

Δεν είμαι σε θέση να κρίνω τα λάθη του Γιάνη Βαρουφάκη γιατί μου λείπει ένα μεγάλο κομμάτι του παζλ το οποίο κάποια στιγμή εκ των πραγμάτων θα ενώσει η έρευνα. Καταλαβαίνω όμως πως ο Βαρουφάκης είναι σε μεγάλο βαθμό ένα θύμα και του εαυτού του. Ο Γιάνης μέτρησε τον εαυτό του και δικαίως τον βρήκε να υπερτερεί επιστημονικά και πολιτικά σε σχέση με τον κάθε πτυχιούχο γαλακτοκομίας Ντάιζελμπλουμ. Αυτό δημιούργησε την παγίδα πως μπορεί και να τον χειριστεί. Δεν ήταν όμως ένα παιχνίδι γνώσεων αλλά ισχύος. Ο Ντάιζελμπλουμ δεν εκπροσωπούσε τον μικρό εαυτό του αλλά την εκβιαστική ισχύ μηχανισμών που του είχαν κάνει ανάθεση έργου. Αυτή την πολιτική διάσταση ίσως να μην την είδε δίνοντας σημασία στις ακαδημαικές του δάφνες.

Το κύριο όμως λάθος του Γιάνη είναι πως υπερτίμησε και αγάπησε ίσως τον νέο του εαυτό σε βαθμό που να τον παραδώσει ναρκισσιστικά στα Μέσα Ενημέρωσης. Έγινε ο φτηνός (αναφέρομαι στο κόστος παραγωγής) τηλεοπτικός ήρωας που στο τέλος τον σκοτώνουν on camera. Παραδόθηκε στους Αυτιάδες διάφορων διαβαθμίσεων και τα πρωινάδικα (συνεχίζει δυστυχώς να το κάνει) παραβλέποντας την ικανότητά τους να καθορίζουν την πολιτική ατζέντα με όσα από σκοπιμότητα ή άγνοια διαστρέβλωναν και λοιδωρούσαν. Ο Γιάνης έδειξε υπέρμετρη έκθεση στα ΜΜΕ. Δεν ξέρω αν το έκανε από την πίστη πως ήταν αρκετά έξυπνος για να τα κατατροπώσει ή από αυτοπαγίδευση στο ρόλο του και πολιτικό ναρκισσισμό. Μπόρεσαν έτσι να τον φθείρουν εύκολα και γρήγορα, εμφανίζοντάς τον να αυτοαναιρείται και να αυτοδιαψεύδεται. Δεν ξέρω αν αυτό έχει μια πολιτική βάση, αλλά να σε παρουσιάζει ο εσμός της διαπλοκής, μαζί και ο υδραυλικός-ηλεκτρολόγος της Καθημερινής, ως το σύγχρονο έλληνα Καραγκιόζη που έχει όλα τα ελαττώματα της φυλής, πάει πολύ.

Ο Γιάνης έχει την ευφυία ώστε να μπορεί να απαντήσει σε όλα αυτά. Πρέπει να ανακαλύψει και την υπομονή.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that.
