Greece capitulates with the euro-dictatorship ... until the next battle

by system failure

Despite all the mistakes made by the Greek government during the last six months in the war with the creditors and their local supporters, it was proven that Tsipras had very few choices. Especially after the direct blackmail through the capital controls and the closed banks which led one step before the total death of the economy, the European financial dictatorship (EFD) representatives showed that they are determined even to drop the last pretexts in order to reach their targets.

Tsipras was forced in a tough truce in order to give Greece some space to breathe and get ready for the next battle of the war. This "remarkable" union has been totally exposed: for the first time in history a PM of a European country, a supposed equal member of the EU and the eurozone, admits publicly that he has been blackmailed by some of his European "partners".

The new Greek government made a dynamic start, making significant moves. However, the creditors, despite their initial surprise, activated soon the "sudden death" plan against the Greek negotiators.

The Greek retreat at this point was unavoidable because it was proven that it was simply impossible for the Greek government to prepare practically for the possibility of a Grexit. Such a practically well-designed plan could be proved a powerful advantage for Greece, if the creditors would realize that it was possible to be implemented.

The creditors, the banking-media dictatorship in Greece and the local oligarchs did everything they could, even before SYRIZA take the power, to put barriers in the new coalition government, to close all the roads and force it either to fall, or, to fully obey on their demands.

Under such war conditions, Tsipras administration managed to pass some measures to relief the most vulnerable population groups that have been hit by the crisis and create a committee to examine the legitimacy of the debt. It also started an investigation about previous memorandums that have been signed by previous governments.

These moves alarmed the bureaufascists of Brussels and the German leadership, as well as the Greek oligarchy, and the war against Tsipras started immediately. However, despite this degrading truce, the Greek government managed to achieve two important things so far.

First, the significant differences between allies and eurozone members came on surface. The US high pressure on Germany due to the fear of significant geopolitical turbulence of a potential Grexit is characteristic. Most important, is the conflict between France and Germany that came on surface. François Hollande was forced to confront openly Schäuble's plans for Grexit, as German will for total hegemony in this rotten eurozone building, alarmed the French leadership. All these of course under the surveillance of Marine Le Pen's nationalists who want to prevent the nightmare of German hegemony by all means.

Second, Tsipras managed to expose completely the real face of this "remarkable" union. The response of people in social media was characteristic, speaking even about a coup against Greece. The turn of the public opinion, taking now the side of Greece, is obvious, as Europeans can see clearly their dark future inside EFD. This open blackmail by the bureaufascists against Greece with the help of the ECB makes people in potential future eurozone members to think twice their entrance in this financial dictatorship. Double damage for plutocrats' plans.

For now, Tsipras has to keep his promise concerning the fight on corruption and the oligarchs in Greece. Otherwise, his political future will end abruptly and a new dark age will surround Greece in the absence of any other liable political force. The Golden Dawn far-Right will wait in the corner to grab the chance and open the door to the extreme nationalists in Europe. He must also organize a serious plan with specific timeline which will solve practical matters for a Grexit because it is certain that the bureaufascists will come back to blackmail in order to force the Greek government to take all the last measures in the Greek experiment.

According to an extreme scenario the German leadership is under hostage by the banksters who blackmail to blow up the eurozone. So, banksters blackmail Merkel and Schäuble who blackmail Tsipras and Tsakalotos (Varoufakis). What a remarkably “healthy” relationship between “partners”!

Capitalism & Genocide - Yanis Varoufakis Speech at the Gaza Tribunal, 23rd October 2025, Istanbul

Yanis Varoufakis   On 23rd October, Yanis Varoufakis testified in front of the Jury of Conscience in the context of the Gaza Tribunal. His speech focused on the economic forces underpinning the genocide of the Palestinian people. In particular, he spoke on the manner in which capitalist dynamics have historically fuelled the white settler colonial project and, more recently, how the accumulation of a new form of capital - which he calls cloud capital - has accelerated, deepened and amplified the economic forces powering and propelling the machinery of genocide.

Munich Shock: Rubio’s Vision of a New Western Century & World Order

GVS Deep Dive   At the 2026 Munich Security Conference, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered one of the most consequential foreign policy speeches of the year. Framed as a call for Western renewal, his address went far beyond NATO reassurance — outlining a vision of sovereignty, industrial consolidation, and civilizational confidence that may signal the end of the post-Cold War global order.   Is this the beginning of a Second Cold War?   Is the West reorganizing around bloc competition?   Or are we witnessing the construction of a new world order?

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events. The following is a brief response to Ellsberg’s main points from someone who lives in Nicaragua and has observed the situation directly and intimately: https://grayzoneproject.com/2018/08/15/a-res...

Five reasons a war with Iran will mark the final fall of US empire

globinfo freexchange   1. The nature of war has changed dramatically since the Iraq war, due to technological developments. A ground invasion, especially against Iran, would be catastrophic for the US empire with unpredictable consequences, even if the regime-change mission successfully completed.  2. The Iran allies in the region are still active, despite their losses. This is connected with the first reason in a way because armed groups dispersed in the Middle-East and affiliated with Iran, can lead to an asymmetric, out-of-control conflict to the point where US forces may suddenly find themselves trapped in a wider deadly warzone with no exit. The new, relatively cheap technology of drones and small/middle range missiles, is easily accessible to these groups. The Ansar Allah group in Yemen, already demonstrated their ability to sabotage US military operations. 3. Iran is not Iraq. Not only due to its size and the fact that we live now in a very different period, but also be...
