Ηχηρό μήνυμα ΟΗΕ υπέρ του δημοψηφίσματος και κατά ΔΝΤ και ΕΕ

Κόλαφο για όσους επιχειρούν να αποτρέψουν τη διενέργεια δημοψηφίσματος στην Ελλάδα αποτελεί μήνυμα εμπειρογνωμόνων του OHE, που χαιρετίζουν την απόφαση της ελληνικής κυβέρνησης ενώ ασκούν ιδιαίτερα σκληρή κριτική στο ΔΝΤ και την ΕΕ.

Εμμέσως πλην σαφώς γίνεται λόγος για παραβίαση της εθνικής κυριαρχίας από τα τελεσίγραφα της τρόικας και τους πιστωτές αλλά και αναφορές στο δικαίωμα που προσφέρει το διεθνές δίκαιο σε μια χώρα να μην πληρώσει τα χρέη της, εάν αυτό οδηγεί σε καταπάτηση θεμελιωδών δικαιωμάτων του ανθρώπου.

“Είναι απογοητευτικό ότι το ΔΝΤ και η ΕΕ απέτυχαν να βρουν μια λύση η οποία να μην απαιτεί επιπλέον μέτρα επιστροφής στη λιτότητα” σημειώνουν και συμπληρώνουν:¨Κάποιοι ηγέτες εξέφρασαν δυσαρέσκεια για τη διενέργεια δημοψηφίσματος. Γιατί; Τα δημοψηφίσματα εντάσσονται στις καλύτερες παραδόσεις της δημοκρατικής διακυβέρνησης”.

Στο μήνυμα, που υπογράφουν ο ειδικός εμπειρογνώμονας για την Προώθηση μιας δημοκρατικής και δίκαιης διεθνούς τάξης πραγμάτων, Alfred de Zayas, και η ειδική εμπειρογνώμονας στα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα και τη διεθνή αλληλεγγύη, Virginia Dandan, τονίζεται ότι αυτό που διακυβεύεται είναι πολύ σημαντικότερο από την αποπληρωμή του χρέους.

Οι δυο εμπειρογνώμονες κάνουν ιδιαίτερη αναφορά στις παρεμβάσεις που έκανε πρόσφατα ο Ανεξάρτητος Εμπειρογνώμονας του Οργανισμού Ηνωμένων Εθνών Juan Pablo Bohoslavsky όταν συναντήθηκε με την πρόεδρο της Βουλής Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου και τα μέλη της Επιτροπής Αλήθειας Δημοσίου Χρέους.

“Κανείς δεν μπορεί να περιμένει ότι ο Έλληνας πρωθυπουργός θα αθετήσει τις δεσμεύσεις που ανέλαβε απέναντι στους ψηφοφόρους του, οι οποίοι τον εξέλεξαν με σαφή εντολή να διαπραγματευτεί μια δίκαιη λύση, η οποία δεν θα αποδομήσει την ελληνική δημοκρατία και δεν θα οδηγήσει σε μεγαλύτερη ανεργία και περισσότερα δεινά για τον πληθυσμό” αναφέρει η ανακοίνωση.

“Η συνθηκολόγηση σε τελεσίγραφα για την επιβολή νέων μέτρων λιτότητας δεν είναι συμβατή με τη δημοκρατική ευθύνη που εμπιστεύθηκε στον πρωθυπουργό το εκλογικό σώμα” συνεχίζει η ανακοίνωση επισημαίνοντας επίσης ότι “από τη φύση του κάθε κράτος έχει ευθύνη να προστατεύσει την ευημερία των υπηκόων του. Αυτό απαιτεί εθνική κυριαρχία για τη χάραξη της δημοσιονομικής πολιτικής και την έκδοση προϋπολογισμών, η οποία δεν μπορεί να χαλκεύεται από εξωτερικούς παράγοντες, είτε αυτοί είναι κράτη, διακυβερνητικοί οργανισμοί ή πιστωτές”.

Επίσης επισημαίνουν ότι η Ελλάδα δεν φέρει καμία ευθύνη για την χρηματοπιστωτική κρίση του 2007-2008 η οποία αποτελεί τη βασική αιτία για την κατάσταση που αντιμετωπίζει σήμερα η χώρα.

“Δημοκρατία” καταλήγουν οι εμπειρογνώμονες του ΟΗΕ “σημαίνει αυτοδιάθεση και η αυτοδιάθεση συχνά απαιτεί δημοψηφίσματα – όπως στην Ελλάδα”.
