Η αναγκαιότητα της εξόδου από την ΟΝΕ

Συμφωνία, λοιπόν, υπό την απειλή του πιο ωμού εκβιασμού και, από ότι φαίνεται, με επαχθέστατους όρους. Πανηγυρίζει το εγχώριο μνημονιακό στρατόπεδο και νιώθουν δικαιωμένοι οι διαπλεκόμενοι πολιτικοί που κατέστρεψαν τη χώρα τα προηγούμενα χρόνια. Θα κάνω μια αποτίμηση της συμφωνίας τις επόμενες μέρες, μόλις έχουμε το πλήρες κείμενο. Τώρα επείγει να αναδιατυπωθεί με τον πιο ξεκάθαρο τρόπο η αναγκαιότητα της εξόδου της Ελλάδας από την ΟΝΕ.

Η Ελλάδα στο δόκανο της ΟΝΕ

Το δίλημμα που πλανάται από το 2010 πάνω από τη χώρα είναι: ευρώ με μνημόνια και τεράστιο χρέος, ή εθνικό νόμισμα με πολιτική ανάπτυξης και στάση πληρωμών στο χρέος.

Ο πρώτος δρόμος δοκιμάστηκε ολόκληρη την προηγούμενη πενταετία και τα αποτελέσματά του είναι γνωστά. Η συμφωνία επαναφέρει το αδιέξοδο με τον χειρότερο τρόπο.

Ο δεύτερος δρόμος λοιδορήθηκε, δαιμονοποιήθηκε, ποτέ δεν συζητήθηκε σοβαρά. Ακόμη χειρότερα, άνθρωποι που θα έπρεπε να έχουν συναίσθηση του τι πραγματικά συμβαίνει, αρνήθηκαν την ίδια την ύπαρξη του διλήμματος, δηλώνοντας μάλιστα ότι το νόμισμα δεν έχει σημασία.

Η Ελλάδα μπήκε στην ΟΝΕ χωρίς επαρκή δημόσια συζήτηση, χωρίς τα λαϊκά στρώματα να ενημερωθούν και να κατανοήσουν τι πραγματικά συνέβαινε. Μια δράκα 'εκσυγχρονιστών', με τη στήριξη των τραπεζών και του μεγάλου κεφαλαίου, έβαλαν την χώρα σε ένα σκληρό θεσμικό πλαίσιο, με πολύ υψηλή ισοτιμία και παραποιώντας τα στατιστικά στοιχεία, προσβλέποντας στον αναγκαστικό 'εξευρωπαϊσμό' της. Είναι δύσκολο να βρει κανείς πράξη μεγαλύτερης ανευθυνότητας στην ελληνική ιστορία, αν εξαιρέσουμε τις πολεμικές περιόδους. Έπιασαν την Ελλάδα στο δόκανο.

Η αποτυχία της ΟΝΕ και η ελληνική τραγωδία

Η ΟΝΕ αποτελεί ένα θεσμικό πλαίσιο με ανελαστική λογική που βασίζεται στη λιτότητα και με νεοφιλελεύθερη ιδεολογία. Ως νομισματική ένωση είναι ιστορικά αποτυχημένη και ο λόγος είναι η πολιτική της Γερμανίας να κρατάει τους δικούς της ονομαστικούς μισθούς χαμηλά, δημιουργώντας ανταγωνιστικό πλεονέκτημα και αποσπώντας τεράστια εμπορικά πλεονάσματα. Χρησιμοποιώντας την ΟΝΕ η Γερμανία έχει γίνει ο μεγαλύτερος δανειστής και κυριαρχεί πολιτικά στην Ευρώπη.

Η αποτυχία της ΟΝΕ έχει οδηγήσει στην καταρράκωση της περιφέρειας και είναι θέμα χρόνου να φανεί και η οικονομική και πολιτική ήττα των μεγάλων χωρών του κέντρου, όπως η Γαλλία και η Ιταλία. Υπάρχει βέβαια ο ψεύτικος μανδύας του ‘ευρωπαϊσμού’ που στη χώρα μας αξιοποιήθηκε κατά κόρον από μνημονιακούς και άλλους. Δεν θα μπορέσει όμως η ιδεολογία της ‘Ευρώπης’ να καλύψει για πολύ την ανελέητη πραγματικότητα των ευρωπαϊκών οικονομιών και κοινωνιών. Η ΟΝΕ έχει αποτύχει και οι επιπτώσεις θα είναι δραματικές για την ίδια την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση.

Η Ελλάδα, με τη στρεβλή ανάπτυξη δεκαετιών που υπερτόνιζε τις υπηρεσίες, με το πελατειακό κράτος, τη φορολογική ασυδοσία και την κυριαρχία μιας κάστας ολιγαρχών, έχει κυριολεκτικά συντριβεί εντός του ανελαστικού πλαισίου της ΟΝΕ. Η επιμονή του πολιτικού συστήματος και των μηχανισμών εξουσίας να κρατήσουν τη χώρα με νύχια και με δόντια σε μια αποτυχημένη νομισματική ένωση, ότι κι αν αυτό σημαίνει για τον ελληνικό λαό, πλησιάζει πια τα όρια της τραγωδίας.

Η σκληρή και αδήριτη πραγματικότητα της ΟΝΕ φάνηκε πέραν πάσης αμφιβολίας τις τελευταίες μέρες κι έλαχε στην πρώτη κυβέρνηση της Αριστεράς να πιεί το πικρό ποτήρι. Εξέλιπαν πλέον οι ψευδαισθήσεις του ευρωπαϊσμού, ακόμη και οι πιο δογματικοί υποστηρικτές του κατάλαβαν ότι 'καλό ευρώ' δεν πρόκειται και δε μπορεί να υπάρξει. Η πραγματικότητα της ΟΝΕ είναι ο Σόιμπλε και οι εκβιασμοί του, η ενεχυρίαση της δημόσιας περιουσίας και η νεοαποικιακή επιτήρηση της χώρας και της κοινωνίας. Δεν υπάρχουν 'ελιγμοί' στο πλαίσιο αυτό, δεν υπάρχει 'κερδισμένος χρόνος' για να γίνουν ριζοσπαστικές τομές στο εσωτερικό της χώρας. Το αδιέξοδο είναι απόλυτο και συνοδεύεται από πλήρη εξευτελισμό.

Και τώρα τι;

Καλά όλα αυτά θα πουν πολλοί, αλλά δυστυχώς δεν έχει υπάρξει προετοιμασία για την έξοδο, δεν υπάρχει σχέδιο, δεν υπάρχει συνειδητοποίηση από πλευράς του ελληνικού λαού.

Είναι αλήθεια ότι δεν έχει γίνει προετοιμασία του λαού για τις δυσκολίες, τις προοπτικές και τη διαδικασία της εξόδου. Απεναντίας, η κατατρομοκράτηση του ελληνικού λαού από τα ΜΜΕ και το μνημονιακό στρατόπεδο δεν έχει προηγούμενο. Πλήρης είναι και η ηθική χρεοκοπία του πνευματικού κόσμου της χώρας. Αλλά ο θυμός από τον εκβιασμό και την εθνική προσβολή που εμπεριέχεται στη συμφωνία, καθώς και η απελευθέρωση της κοινωνικής δυναμικής που έφερε το ΟΧΙ στο δημοψήφισμα, μπορούν να έχουν γρήγορα αποτελέσματα στη λαϊκή συνείδηση.

Είναι επίσης αλήθεια ότι δεν έχει γίνει τεχνική προετοιμασία, πράγμα που καθιστά τη βεβιασμένη έξοδο εξαιρετικά επικίνδυνη. Αυτή ακριβώς ήταν και η βάση του εκβιασμού που άσκησαν με τόση επιτυχία οι δανειστές. Η Ελλάδα φρόντισε να κάνει ότι περνάει από το χέρι της τα τελευταία χρόνια για να ενισχύσει τους δανειστές και να εξασθενίσει τον εαυτό της.

Σχέδιο εξόδου όμως υπάρχει, έστω και με τη μορφή πλοηγού, δουλεμένο από καιρό και επιμελημένο από σειρά οικονομολόγων. Χρειάζεται επικαιροποίηση, καθώς και πληρέστερη επεξεργασία των επιμέρους πλευρών του, αλλά το περίγραμμα και η βασική δομή της διαδικασίας εξόδου με ασφάλεια και ελαχιστοποίηση του κόστους είναι γνωστά.

Το εθνικό νόμισμα δεν είναι φυσικά το μαγικό ραβδί που θα λύσει όλα τα προβλήματα της Ελλάδας. Θα απελευθερώσει όμως τη χώρα από το δόκανο, έστω και με το τίμημα μιας δύσκολης αρχικής περιόδου. Θα της επιτρέψει επίσης να προχωρήσει στις βαθιές τομές στο κράτος, την παραγωγική ανασυγκρότηση της οικονομίας και την ανατροπή της κοινωνικής ισορροπίας υπέρ των πολλών, πράγματα που δεν γίνονται μέσα στην ΟΝΕ. Ο ελληνικός λαός θα φανεί έτοιμος να πληρώσει το τίμημα, αν του ειπωθεί η απλή αλήθεια.

Ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ σχημάτισε κυβέρνηση με μια πολύ επιτυχημένη εκλογική στρατηγική, η οποία όμως κατέρρευσε παταγωδώς στη διακυβέρνηση. Η συμφωνία δεν πρόκειται να λύσει τα προβλήματα της χώρας και είναι πιθανόν να αποδεχθεί παντελώς ανεφάρμοστη. Η προοπτική της εξόδου από την ΟΝΕ θα τεθεί ξανά με εξαιρετικά επιτακτικό τρόπο εκ των πραγματων και μάλιστα πολύ σύντομα. Ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ οφείλει στα μέλη και στους ψηφοφόρους του να προχωρήσει σε ταχύτατη επανεκτίμηση της πορείας της χώρας και να διαμορφώσει πρόταση εξόδου από την ΟΝΕ με πειστικό τρόπο. Αν δεν το κάνει, οι εξελίξεις το επόμενο διάστημα θα γεννήσουν πολιτικά τέρατα.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique.
