Οι εθνικοποιήσεις στη Βολιβία απέφεραν στη χώρα 13 δις δολάρια συναλλαγματικά αποθέματα

Ο πρόεδρος της Βολιβίας, Έβο Μοράλες, δήλωσε ότι, από όταν η κυβέρνησή του ανέκτησε τους φυσικούς πόρους, βελτιώθηκε η οικονομική κατάσταση και η χώρα έγινε ένα σημαντικό διεθνές σημείο αναφοράς.

Από τις εορτασικές εκδηλώσεις των 355 χρόνων της ίδρυσης του Δήμου Καραπαρί στη περιφέρεια Ταρίζα στο Νότο της Βολιβίας, ο Πρόεδρος Έβο Μοράλες δήλωσε ότι “μέσω των φυσικών πόρων παράγεται πολύ συνάλλαγμα που αξιοποιείται προς όφελος του λαού της Βολιβίας”.

Προσέθεσε ότι η περιοχή έχει ειδική μεταχείριση λόγω του ότι η οικονομική κατάσταση άλλαξε μετά την εθνικοποίηση, επισημαίνοντας ότι η γη του Καραπαρί δίνει ζωή στη Βολιβία, αναφερόμενος στους πόρους υδρογονανθράκων που παράγονται στην περιοχή.

Αυξήθηκαν οι εισροές στο Εθνικό Θησαυροφυλάκιο (TGN) από 2 εκατομμύρια Βολιβιάνος ( περίπου 300 χιλ. Δολάρια) το 2006, σε 23 εκατομμύρια Βολιβιάνος (περίπου 3 εκατ.δολάρια) το 2012.

Τόνισε επίσης, ότι θα πρέπει επίσης να αναγνωρίσουμε τον αγώνα του λαού, των κοινωνικών κινημάτων και των εργατών, όπως επίσης, ότι πέρα από την πολιτική της εθνικοποίησης, είναι επίσης σημαντική η πατριωτική ατζέντα για να είναι η Βολιβία μέρος της παγκόσμιας συζήτησης.

Ο Βολιβιανός Πρόεδρος επεσήμανε ακόμη, τη σημασία της ιεράρχησης των επενδύσεων σε παραγωγικά έργα, σημειώνοντας ότι η κατανομή των ωφελημάτων στην περιοχή είναι κατοχυρωμένη από το Σύνταγμα της χώρας.

Από τον άνοδό του στην εξουσία το Γενάρη του 2006, ο Μοράλες εθνικοποίησε τους υδρογονάνθρακες, τις εταιρείες τηλεπικοινωνιών, υδροηλεκτρισμού και ηλεκτρισμού, ορυχείων και διαχείρισης συντάξεων που κατείχαν Βραζιλιάνικες, Ισπανικές, Ελβετικές, Καναδικές, Ιταλικές, Βρετανικές , Περουβιάνικες, καθώς και άλλης εθνικότητας εταιρείες.

Σε αρκετές περιπτώσεις, επεσήμανε ο Πρόεδρος, χάρη στα μέτρα εθνικοποιήσεων τα οικονομικά πλεονάσματα μένουν στη Βολιβία, επιτρέποντας την αύξηση των καθαρών συναλλαγματικών αποθεμάτων από 1,3 δις δολάρια το 2006 σε 13 δις δολάρια σήμερα.
