Νέα στοιχεία: Η παγκόσμια ολιγαρχία ισοπεδώνει τη μεσαία τάξη και αυξάνει τη δύναμή της

Μπορεί η οικονομική κρίση να έχει ισοπεδώσει τη μεσαία τάξη οδηγώντας σε εξαθλίωση μεγάλο μέρος του ελληνικού λαού που υποχρεούται να ζήσει υπό ασφυκτική λιτότητα, σε ένα παράλληλο υπαρκτό σύμπαν όμως υπάρχει την ίδια στιγμή και μία άλλη Ελλάδα που σε τίποτα δε θυμίζει την Ελλάδα της κρίσης. Πρόκειται για μια Ελλάδα «ολίγων» ή «ολιγαρχών», την Ελλάδα των… κροίσων.

Την κοινωνική ανισότητα που επικρατεί στην Ελλάδα αλλά και σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο αποδεικνύουν τα στοιχεία που καταγράφει η Wealth-X, μια εξειδικευμένη εταιρεία που συγκεντρώνει πληροφορίες για λογαριασμό των τμημάτων αξιοποίησης περιουσίας των μεγαλύτερων τραπεζών.

Σύμφωνα με τα στοιχεία αυτά ο ιδιωτικός πλούτος του πλανήτη αυξήθηκε στα 164 τρισ. δολάρια. Από ελληνικής πλευράς, στις λίστες με τους ισχυρούς του κόσμου φιγουράρουν τα ονόματα 11 δισεκατομυριούχων, ενώ 565 Έλληνες εμφανίζονται να είναι πολυεκατομμυριούχοι. Η περιουσία των ισχυρών Ελλήνων υπολογίζεται ότι ανέρχεται συνολικά στα 88 δισ. δολάρια, με τους 11 δισεκκατομυριούχους να συγκεντώνουν το ποσό των 18 δισ. δολαρίων και τους υπόλοιπους 565 Έλληνες μεγιστάνες να κατέχουν συνολική περιουσία 70 δισ. δολαρίων. Την ίδια στιγμή οι... απλώς εκατομμυριούχοι Έλληνες, υπολογίζονται σε 34.723.

Σε παγκόσμια κλίμακα τα στοιχεία καταδεικνύουν ότι το 8,6% του παγκόσμιου πληθυσμού ελέγχει το 85,3% του παγκόσμιου πλούτου, την ώρα που το 69,8% του πληθυσμού του πλανήτη μοιράζεται μόλις το 2,9% του πλούτου.

    Ο νικητής ήταν και είναι γνωστός. Αυτός έχει το χρήμα να εξαγοράζει τους πάντες. Να ΄΄στήνει΄΄ κυβερνήσεις, να χειραγωγεί χρηματιστήρια και να επηρεάζει τις οικονομίες των Κρατών. Σήκωσε πολύ κεφάλι η μεσαία τάξη και έπρεπε να της το κόψουν. Φτου κι απ΄την αρχή. Μόλις θα ξανασηκώσει μετά από 50 χρόνια κεφάλι θα της το ξανακόψουν και κ.ο.κ

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events.
