Ποτάμι και Θεοδωράκης: Λίγα πράγματα που δεν πρέπει να ξεχνάμε...

Το Ποτάμι είναι ένα κόμμα ενδομνημονιακό. Δημιουργήθηκε σε συνθήκες μνημονίων, πολιτικής και οικονομικής κρίσης, με σκοπό να συνδράμει στη διαχείριση μιας κατάστασης προς μια συγκεκριμένη φυσικά πολιτική κατεύθυνση. Το Ποτάμι επίσης αποτέλεσε και αποτελεί ακόμα μια «χρυσή εφεδρεία», μια εφεδρεία του καλοστημένου και ισχυρού αστικού πολιτικού κόσμου και συστήματος που ήρθε την κατάλληλη στιγμή και με τον κατάλληλο τρόπο για να καλύψει τα κενά που είχε αφήσει η ακροδεξιά ολίσθηση της Νέας Δημοκρατίας τα τελευταία χρόνια και η κατακόρυφη πολιτική πτώση του ΠΑΣΟΚ.

Επιπλέον το Ποτάμι ήρθε και για να καλύψει πολιτικά έναν ευαίσθητο για τα ελληνικά πολιτικά και κοινωνικά δεδομένα υποτίθεται, τον χώρο της κεντροαριστεράς, τον χώρο που δεν κατάφερε να καλύψει μια άλλη προηγούμενη απόπειρα πολιτικής εισβολής στον ίδιο χώρο,όπως η απόπειρα των... 58 ή η απόπειρα δημιουργίας της ΕΛΙΑΣ. Η ΕΛΙΑ απέτυχε πολύ γρήγορα αφού χτίστηκε με τα «σάπια» πολιτικά υλικά του παλιού ΠΑΣΟΚ και έτσι ήρθε το Ποτάμι, με «νέα» υλικά, υλικά που τουλάχιστον δεν είχαν χρησιμοποιηθεί για τον ίδιο σκοπό και αποτελούσαν μια εναλλακτική λύση διαχείρισης της υπάρχουσας κατάστασης.

Στην πραγματικότητα βέβαια ελάχιστοι από τα νέα πρωταγωνιστικά στελέχη του Ποταμιού δεν ήταν ούτε είναι νέα αλλά αντίθετα προέρχονται από γνωστούς πολιτικούς χώρους, από το παλιό, βαθύ ΠΑΣΟΚ και τη ΔΗΜΑΡ μέχρι και τη Δράση, αλλά και το κόμμα της Ντόρας... Ενδεικτικές φυσικά ήταν εξ αρχής οι πρώτες δηλώσεις του αρχηγού του Ποταμιού , του τηλεορασάνθρωπου Σταύρου Θεοδωράκη στην ερώτηση αν το Ποτάμι ανήκει στον δεξιό ή στον αριστερό πολιτικό χώρο. «Είναι λάθος να προσδιοριζόμαστε μ αυτόν τον τρόπο...».

Το Ποτάμι ήρθε χωρίς συγκεκριμένη πολιτική ταυτότητα, περιλαμβάνοντας στις τάξεις του ανθρώπους που ανήκαν θεωρητικά στον αριστερό ιδεολογικό χώρο, όπως ο κ.Γραμματικάκης, μέχρι και ανθρώπους που ανήκαν στον απόλυτα νεοφιλελεύθερο πολιτικό χώρο όπως η κ.Λυμπεράκη, αλλά στην πραγματικότητα οι θέσεις του ανήκουν ξεκάθαρα στον νεοφιλελεύθερο πολιτικά χώρο, γεγονός φυσικά που μαρτυρά και η κοινή κάθοδος με το κόμμα Δράση στις τελευταίες εκλογές.

Επίσης το Ποτάμι εξ αρχής ταυτίστηκε από πολλούς με τα συμφέροντα συγκεκριμένου επιχειρηματία, αλλά και συγκεκριμένου καναλιού στο οποίο υπηρέτησε τα τελευταία 15 χρόνια ο αρχηγός του, Σταύρος Θεοδωράκης...

Εξάλλου στο σύντομο πολιτικό του χρόνου το Ποτάμι και ο Σταύρος Θεοδωράκης έχουν να επιδείξουν μερικά αλήστου μνήμης επιτεύγματα που αξίζει να θυμόμαστε:

  • H πρώτη ερώτηση από βουλευτές του Ποταμιού στην πρώτη παρουσία τους στο ελληνικό κοινοβούλιο ήταν οικολογικού ενδιαφέροντος με... Μπόμπολα στο βάθος. Η ερώτηση αφορούσε στην προβληματική λειτουργία του ΧΥΤΑ Μαυροράχης στην περιοχή της Ασσήρου του Λαγκαδά και τους κινδύνος που αυτός ενέχει για τη δημόσια υγεία και το περιβάλλον. Κατά σύμπτωση βέβαια την κατασκευή του συγκεκριμένου ΧΥΤΑ είχε αναλάβει εταιρεία συμφερόντων του γνωστού επιχειρηματία Φώτη Μπόμπολα και προφανώς το ζήτημα ήταν ότι η δυσλειτουργία του ΧΥΤΑ θα έπρεπε να επισπεύσει το έργο του επιχειρηματία και την περαίωσή του.

  • Το Ποτάμι πρότεινε την κατάργηση του άρθρου 14, του «βασικού μετόχου», ήδη από την πρόταση που είχε κάνει για την αναθεώρηση του συντάγματος από τον Μάιο του 2014. Το άρθρο 14 που περιλαμβάνει τις διατάξεις του βασικού μετόχου, αφορά «στην ανάθεση των ηλεκτρονικών ΜΜΕ σε ιδιώτες ύστερα από διαγωνισμό και στον αποκλεισμό από των παραχώρηση ηλεκτρονικών ΜΜΕ σε ιδιώτες που είναι εργολάβοι ή προμηθευτές του Δημοσίου, καθώς και στενοί συγγενείς τους» και φυσικά είχε σκοπόν την πάταξη της διαπλοκής και της διαφθοράς στα ΜΜΕ και στη σχέση τους με το κράτος. Το 2009 μάλιστα ο «Βασικός Μέτοχος» επικυρώθηκε και από το Ευρωπαϊκό δικαστήριο, ωστόσο δεν εφαρμόστηκε ποτέ. Η κυβέρνηση ΣΥΡΙΖΑ πρόσφατα δήλωσε την πρόθεσή της να προωθήσει το συγκεκριμένο νόμο.

  • Το Ποτάμι είναι το μοναδικό κόμμα που δε συμμετέχει στην κοινοβουλευτική επιτροπή διεκδίκησης των γερμανικών αποζημιώσεων. Ο αρχηγός του Ποταμιού κατηγόρησε την πρόεδρο της Βουλής κ.Κωνσταντοπούλου για «ναρκισσισμό, κομματισμό και αμετροέπεια» καθώς και ότι θέλει να προσθέσει άλλον ένα τίτλο στο βιογραφικό της, αυτόν του προέδρου της συγκεκριμένης επιτροπής, προσπαθώντας εν μέρει να δικαιολογήσει την απόφαση του κόμματός του να μη συμμετάσχει στην επιτροπή.

  • Ο Σταύρος Θεοδωράκης σε μια συνέντευξή του στην εκπομπή Ενικός του Ν.Χατζηνικολάου τον περασμένο Μάρτιο σε ένα ξέσπασμα νεοφιλελεύθερης ρητορείας και ενδεικτικά αναφερόμενος σε έναν καλεσμένο της εκπομπής ειπε: «Αν δώσουμε μισθό στον φίλο μας εδώ παραπάνω χρήματα τι θα τα κάνει; Θα τα κάνει προφανώς καύσιμα , τρόφιμα κλπ, δηλαδή εισαγόμενα προϊόντα». Προφανές συμπέρασμα από τα λεγόμενα του κ.Θεοδωράκη ότι προέχει η κινεζοποίηση της ελληνικής κοινωνίας μέχρις ότου αποτελέσει εύφορο έδαφος για επενδύσεις πολυεθνικών, κατασκευαστικών και άλλων μονοπωλίων και καταφέρει να επιτύχει την πολυπόθητη «ανάπτυξη».

Τα παραπάνω αποτελούν λίγα μόνο στοιχειά από τη σύντομη πολιτική διαδρομή του κινήματος του Ποταμιού και του Σταύρου Θεοδωράκη. Από κει και πέρα η trendy πολιτική του εικόνα, η δήθεν πρωτοποριακή πολιτική λογική και παρουσία του και τα δήθενα «άφθαρτα» και νέα πρόσωπα που παρουσιάζει μόνο να κρύψουν δεν μπορούν τις πραγματικές του πολιτικές καταβολές και προθέσεις.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that.
