period 2009-2013, USA and Russia shared 56% of the global arms
exports with small percentage difference: USA (29%), Russia (27%).
Other
interesting features:
- Australia and South Korea are the main importers of the US arms industry (10% of the US arms exports each).
- India is by far the main importer of the Russian arms industry with 38% of the country's total exports.
- Greece is the second importer of the German arms industry with 8% of the country's total exports after USA (10%).
- Pakistan is by far the main importer of the Chinese arms with 47% of the country's total exports.
- Saudi Arabia is by far the main importer of the British arms industry with 42% of the country's total exports.
- India is by far the main importer of the Israeli arms with 33% of the country's total exports, while the second importer is Turkey with 13%.
