Και η Μέρκελ φοβέρα θέλει

Είναι πρωτοφανές αυτό που συμβαίνει στη χώρα. Xθες το πρωί, όταν είχε αποκαλυφτεί η επιστολή Τσίπρα στους Ευρωπαίους ηγέτες στην οποία διαπιστωνόταν το πρόβλημα ρευστότητας της ελληνικής οικονομίας, Σαμαράς και Βενιζέλος ήταν βέβαιοι ότι θα επέρχετο επιτέλους αυτό για το οποίο προβοκάρουν ήδη πριν τις εκλογές: ένας τραπεζικός πανικός που θα παρέσυρε την κυβέρνηση, από τους πολίτες που θα έτρεχαν να αποσύρουν τις καταθέσεις τους. Δεν ήταν άλλωστε ο ίδιος ο πρωθυπουργός της χώρας, που ομολογούσε στην επιστολή του ότι υπήρχε πρόβλημα, αφού η κυβέρνηση του θα έπρεπε να πληρώσει είτε τους δανειστές ή τις συντάξεις;

Άλλωστε ο Α.Τσίπρας, στην ίδια επιστολή του πριν την μίνι-σύνοδο της προηγούμενης εβδομάδας, διευκρίνιζε σαφώς ότι, στην περίπτωση που καλείτο να επιλέξει ανάμεσα στην αποπληρωμή των μισθών και των συντάξεων ή των δανειστών, θα άφηνε τους τελευταίους στα κρύα του λουτρού. Αυτό το φάντασμα του πιστωτικού γεγονότος που κανένας δεν θέλει και όλοι φοβούνται,επέτρεψε στον Έλληνα πρωθυπουργό να σταθεί ως ίσος προς ίσο με τους Ευρωπαίους ηγέτες και διευκόλυνε την δημιουργία καλού κλίματος στη χθεσινή συνάντηση με την κυρία Μέρκελ.

Βεβαίως είναι γνωστό, ότι η Γερμανίδα καγκελάριος δεν λέει ποτέ ένα ναι ή ένα όχι. Λέει και ναι και όχι, περιμένοντας να δει πως θα εξελιχθούν τα πράγματα πριν αναλάβει δράση. Και ο Παπανδρέου το 2010 και ο Σαμαράς αργότερα έχουν πληρώσει ακριβά τον καιροσκοπισμό της, όταν πίστεψαν ότι τα μισόλογα της Ανγκελας έδιναν το πράσινο φως για όσα σχεδίαζαν(ο ΓΑΠ είχε πιστέψει ότι η Μέρκελ δεν είχε αντίρρηση ούτε για το μοιραίο δημοψήφισμα, που τον απομάκρυνε από την εξουσία).

Την ίδια στάση κράτησε η κυρία Μέρκελ και χθες το βράδυ, στην συνάντηση με τον Τσίπρα, όταν κρύφτηκε πίσω από το eurogroup και τις αποφάσεις του, ενώ είναι γνωστό ότι το Βερολίνο είναι σήμερα η πρωτεύουσα της Ευρώπης. Από την κρίση μέχρι τα εγκλήματα των ναζί, η Γερμανίδα πρωθυπουργός δεν είπε παρά πολλά "ναι μεν, αλλά". Όμως και μόνο το γεγονός ότι χθες το πρωί η κίτρινη ανεθλληνική Bild, το γύρισε φιλελληνικά, φυσικά μετά από προτροπή της καγκελαρίας, δείχνει ότι η φοβέρα είναι μερικές φορές απαραίτητη, ιδίως όταν έχει να κάνει κανείς με διστακτικούς εκβιαστές.

Διστακτικοί εκβιαστές όχι μόνο λόγω του κινδύνου πρόκλησης πιστωτικού γεγονότος για λίγα δις, αλλά και επειδή η Μέρκελ και οι άλλοι Ντράγκι και Σία που κινούν τα νήματα της Ευρώπης, δεν θέλουν να κατηγορηθούν ότι οδήγησαν στην πτώση μιας νέας κυβέρνησης, που απολαμβάνει μάλιστα μιας χωρίς ιστορικό προηγούμενο υποστήριξης στο εσωτερικό της χώρας της. Περιμένουν να δουν αν αυτή η υποστήριξη θα συνεχιστεί ή η κυβέρνηση θα φθαρεί, είτε από δολιοφθορές όπως αυτή εναντίον του Γ. Κατρούγκαλου ή από την οικονομική ασφυξία που προκαλούν.

Γι΄αυτό και τίποτα δεν έχει κριθεί. Η εκεχειρία της προηγούμενης εβδομάδας στη μίνι σύσκεψη κορυφής είναι καλύτερη από αυτήν της 20ης Φλεβάρη, αλλά δεν παύει να είναι μια εκεχειρία. Το κλίμα με την Γερμανία βελτιώθηκε, αλλά πρόκειται απλώς για βελτίωση κλίματος. Το κλειδί της επιτυχίας είναι αλλού: όσο η κυβέρνηση δεν θα επαφίεται μόνο στο αδιαμφισβήτητο, πλέον και από τους εχθρούς του, πολιτικό ταλέντο του Α.Τσίπρα αλλά θα κάνει καλά τη δουλειά της, με σύνεση και αποφασιστικότητα, χωρίς καθυστερήσεις, προσωπικά παιχνίδια ή ιδεοληψίες, τόσο θα ακυρώνεται το σχέδιο για την ανατροπή της. Ακόμη και αν οι αντίπαλοι της διαρρέουν επιστολές, με την ελπίδα ότι θα προκαλέσουν τον τραπεζικό πανικό για τον οποίο τόσο καιρό πασχίζουν.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
