Συγκροτήθηκε η Επιτροπή Ελέγχου του Δημόσιου Χρέους

Τη συγκρότηση Επιτροπής Ελέγχου του Δημόσιου Χρέους ανακοίνωσε η πρόεδρος της Βουλής Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου σε συνέντευξη Τύπου που παραχώρησε μαζί με την ευρωβουλευτή του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ Σοφία Σακοράφα και το Βέλγο οικονομολόγο Ερίκ Τουσέν.

Η κα. Σακοράφα αναλαμβάνει την επικοινωνία του εγχειρήματος στο εξωτερικό ενώ ο κ. Τουσέν το επιστημονικό κομμάτι καθώς θεωρείται ειδικός στον έλεγχο επί του χρέους χωρών. Μεταξύ άλλων, θα μελετηθούν κομμάτια του χρέους που σχετίζονται με τη διοργάνωση των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων του 2004, με εξοπλιστικά προγράματα αλλά και το σκάνδαλο της Siemens.

Όπως σημειώθηκε στη συνέντευξη τύπου, η Επιτροπή θα τελεί υπό την αιγίδα της Ελληνικής Βουλής και θα είναι πλήρως ανοικτή προς την Κοινωνία των Πολιτών, αλλά και σε Έλληνες και διεθνείς οικονομολόγους, συνταγματολόγους και ειδικούς επιστήμονες του χρέους.

Στόχος της επιτροπής είναι η αποκάλυψη της αλήθειας για την ευθύνη των ακολουθούμενων πολιτικών, αλλά και πράξεων ή παραλείψεων που εκτίναξαν το χρέος της Ελλάδας. Η πρώτη επίσημη συνάντηση της Επιτροπής ορίστηκε για τις αρχές Απριλίου ενώ τον Ιούνιο, τα πρώτα αποτελέσματα που θα προκύψουν, θα παρουσιαστούν σε Διεθνές Συνέδριο για το χρέος.

Η πρόεδρος της Βουλής είπε ότι θα αντιστοιχηθούν τα δάνεια που έλαβε η χώρα στους πραγματικούς σκοπούς για τους οποίους συνήφθησαν και θα ελεγχθεί ποιο μέρος εξανεμίστηκε ερήμην του λαού, ποιο τμήμα του χρέους είναι επαχθές, απεχθές και επονείδιστο και κατά συνέπεια δεν πρέπει να αποπληρωθεί.

“Σκοπός μας είναι να αναζητηθούν όλες οι παράμετροι που συγκροτούν το χρέος, να δούμε που δαπανήθηκαν τα ποσά, ποιο μέρος των δανείων πήγε σε συμβάσεις μιζών, ποιοι τόκοι έχουν πληρωθεί και πως συμφωνήθηκαν αυτοί οι τόκοι”, είπε η κ. Κωνσταντοπούλου. “Η διαπίστωση ότι οι Έλληνες χρωστάνε και πρέπει να πληρώσουν, παραγνωρίζει βασικές αρχές του διεθνούς δικαίου και του ανθρωπιστικού δικαίου” ανέφερε και τόνισε ότι “το ερώτημα είναι: ποιο τμήμα πήγε σε κοινωνικούς σκοπούς και ποιο εξαφανίστηκε ερήμην του λαού; Αυτό το ερώτημα είναι συνυφασμένο με το ποιο τμήμα είναι νόμιμο και ποιο είναι παράνομο και μη οφειλόμενο”.

Η Ζωή Κωνσταντοπούλου διέψευσε ότι υπάρχει διάσταση ανάμεσα στη Βουλή και την κυβέρνηση επειδή η εξεταστική για το μνημόνιο, που πιθανότατα θα κατατεθεί εντός της εβδομάδος, ξεκινά από το 2010 και μετά, ενώ η έρευνα της Επιτροπής Λογιστικού Ελέγχου θα περιλαμβάνει και τα προηγούμενα χρόνια. H Ευρωβουλευτής του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ Σοφία Σακοράφα, είναι η πρώτη που είχε καταθέσει στην Βουλή, ως βουλευτής τότε, την πρόταση να συσταθεί η Επιτροπή Λογιστικού Ελέγχου.

Ο Ερίκ Τουσέν ανέφερε ότι η έρευνά του θα επεκταθεί και πιο πίσω από το 2010 και επεσήμανε πως η Επιτροπή σε συνεργασία με το Ελληνικό Κοινοβούλιο θα εξετάσει και θα αναλύσει τις συμβάσεις της περιόδου και πριν το 2010 (εξοπλιστικά, Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες, SIEMENS κ.α.) που συνέβαλαν στην αύξηση του χρέους.

Από τη μεριά της η Σοφία Σακοράφα δεσμεύθηκε πως “αξιοποιώντας τον θεσμικό μου ρόλο, θα καταβάλλω κάθε προσπάθεια ώστε να γίνει κτήμα των λαών της Ευρώπης ότι με τις θυσίες τους διασώζουν τον κύριο υπεύθυνο της κρίσης, το χρηματοπιστωτικό σύστημα”.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’
