Die Welt: Η Ευρωπαίοι βλέπουν το 4ο Ράιχ να αναγεννιέται στη Γερμανία

«Ένα κύμα μίσους για τη Γερμανία κατακλύζει την Ευρώπη» είναι ο τίτλος δημοσιεύματος της γερμανικής εφημερίδας Die Welt, η οποία βλέπει με αφορμή την Ελλάδα το μίσος απέναντι στη Γερμανία να παίρνει πανευρωπαϊκές διαστάσεις.

«Πριν από έναν χρόνο όλα ήταν διαφορετικά», γράφει η εφημερίδα. «Ο γερμανικός λαός παρουσιαζόταν στον αμερικανικό, τον ιταλικό ακόμη και στον αυστριακό Τύπο ως αυτός που έλυνε προβλήματα, έκανε μακροπρόθεσμα σχέδια, ως το πρότυπο που θα έπρεπε να ακολουθούν όλες οι σύγχρονες χώρες», παρατηρεί η εφημερίδα.

Μετά την καταλυτική ανάμειξη της Γερμανίας στην ελληνική κρίση όμως, το προφίλ της Γερμανίας φαίνεται ΝΕ περνάει τη δική του κρίση. «Τώρα πια όμως, προωθείται η εικόνα του μισητού Γερμανού ο οποίος δεν διστάζει να υποτάξει μικρά κράτη, ο οποίος αψηφά τις ειρηνευτικές συνθήκες με τον εθνικισμό του και γεμίζει ανυπεράσπιστες οικονομίες με τον στρατιωτικό του εξοπλισμό», συνεχίζει το δημοσίευμα.

«Το μίσος για τη Γερμανία έχει ξεπεράσει εδώ και καιρό τα όρια της Ελλάδας και έχει εξαπλωθεί και στις υπόλοιπες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες», αναφέρει η εφημερίδα και εξηγεί: «Στα ιταλικά μέσα ενημέρωσης γίνεται λόγος για βασανιστές κρατών, για τη μανία της Γερμανίας να υπερισχύσει ‘όλων’. Για μια Ευρώπη την οποία και πάλι η Γερμανία βομβαρδίζει μέχρι να την καταστρέψει και τώρα παρακολουθεί από ψηλά τη θέα. Για το ένστικτο των Γερμανών για παντοδυναμία. Για το τέταρτο Ράιχ».

Όπως σημειώνει η Die Welt: «Ο Ιταλός κοινωνιολόγος Λέλιο Ντεμικέλις έγραψε σε κείμενό του: ‘Όπως ο Βίλι Μπραντ κάποτε υποκλίθηκε στη Βαρσοβία, έτσι τώρα αναγκάζει η Μέρκελ τους Έλληνες και τους άλλους Ευρωπαίους να υποκλιθούν στο Βερολίνο’. Οι αφορισμοί αυτοί δεν περιορίζονται γεωγραφικά».

Ακόμη και ο Αυστριακός καγκελάριος Βέρνερ Φάιμαν, αν και κάπως πιο διπλωματικά, υιοθετεί ανάλογη ρητορική, σύμφωνα με τη Welt. Όπως σημειώνει τέλος το δημοσίευμα και ο υπουργός Εξωτερικών του Λουξεμβούργου Ζαν Άσελμπορν έκανε λόγο επανειλημμένα για τα «φαντάσματα του παρελθόντος», ενώ ο Ιταλός πρωθυπουργός Ματέο Ρέντσι μίλησε για την «αφάνταστη ταπείνωση» των Ελλήνων από τη Γερμανία.

Ανάλογο είναι το κλίμα και στην Πορτογαλία, όπου μέσα μαζικής ενημέρωσης της χώρας παρουσιάζουν τον Γερμανό υπουργό Οικονομικών Βόλφγκανγκ Σόιμπλε ως τη μεγαλύτερη απειλή για την ήπειρο, «πολύ μεγαλύτερη από την τρομοκρατία και τον λαϊκισμό», όπως χαρακτηριστικά αναφέρουν.

Όμως και σε πιο μετριοπαθείς χώρες, όπως για παράδειγμα στο Βέλγιο, τα πράγματα δεν ελιναι διαφορετικά. Η φλαμανδική εφημερίδα De Standaard γράφει για τη «Γερμανία και τους 18 νάνους», επισημαίνοντας ότι πλέον δεν πρόκειται «για τη συμπαθητική χώρα της επανένωσης».

Η αντιπάθεια της Ευρώπης στη σύγχρονη ηγεμονία της Γερμανίας φαίνεται άλλωστε και στη διαδικτυακή εκστρατεία μποϊκοτάζ γερμανικών προϊόντων #BoycottGermany, που ξεκίνησε από την Ισπανία, σημειώνει η εφημερίδα.

    Εαν πραγματικά ο κόσμος μποικοτάρει τα γερμανικά προιόντα με συνείδηση όμως, όχι να σου έχουν ξεκληρίσει τους προγόνους και να αγοράζεις γερμανικό αυτοκινητο, τότε η Γερμανία θα πεθάνει οικονομικά πολύ σύντομα.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
