DIE LINKE: Μια υποταγή στους δανειστές είναι το χειρότερο μήνυμα

Η ελληνική κυβέρνηση δεν θα πρέπει να δεχτεί τις προτάσεις των δανειστών με τη σημερινή τους μορφή, λέει το ηγετικό στέλεχος του κόμματος «Η Αριστερά» Ζάρα Βάγκενκνεχτ και συνιστά στην Αθήνα έξοδο από το ευρώ

Οι διαπραγματεύσεις της Ελλάδας με τους Θεσμούς έχει πάρει τον χαρακτήρα «παρτίδας πόκερ χωρίς προηγούμενο» όπου οι δανειστές τηρούν μια στάση του «όλα ή τίποτα». Με αυτόν τον τρόπο περιέγραψε η αντιπρόεδρος της κοινοβουλευτικής ομάδας του κόμματος «Η Αριστερά» σε συζήτηση με δημοσιογράφους στο Βερολίνο την τρέχουσα κατάσταση των διαπραγματεύσεων Ελλάδας-Θεσμών.

Συμφωνία με περικοπή χρέους

Κατά την άποψη της κ. Βάγκενκνεχτ, «με τα έως τώρα δεδομένα η Αθήνα δεν μπορεί να δεχθεί το πρόγραμμα των δανειστών». Όχι μόνο επειδή δεν μπορεί να απαιτηθούν περισσότερες θυσίες από τους έλληνες πολίτες. Οι περικοπές που ζητούνται θα σήμαιναν για την Ελλάδα βουτιά στην ύφεση. Σε αυτή την περίπτωση η χώρα θα είχε ανάγκη από επιπλέον δάνεια για τα οποία θα πρέπει να εγγυηθούν οι χώρες της ευρωζώνης. Δεδομένου ότι το κόμμα «Η Αριστερά» εκπροσωπεί τους γερμανούς πολίτες δεν μπορεί να συμφωνήσει με προτάσεις που «συνιστούν κατάχρηση των χρημάτων των φορολογούμενων».

Παραδέχεται ότι δεν είναι σε θέση να εκτιμήσει με σιγουριά τη σκληρή στάση των δανειστών στις διαπραγματεύσεις. Αν δηλαδή επιδιώκουν να οδηγήσουν σε αποτυχία ένα αριστερό εγχείρημα διακυβέρνησης ή αν ανεξάρτητα από το ποιος κυβερνά στην Ελλάδα, θέλουν να επιβάλουν μια πολιτική λιτότητας. Πάντως, σε περίπτωση που οι δανειστές δεν δείξουν διάθεση για συναίνεση η Ζάρα Βάγκενκνεχτ συνιστά στην ελληνική κυβέρνηση να μην προβεί σε συμβιβασμούς: «Μια υποταγή θα ήταν το χειρότερο δυνατό μήνυμα». Η ίδια πιστεύει ότι ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ δεν πρόκειται να δεχτεί το πρόγραμμα των δανειστών με τη σημερινή του μορφή. Κατά την άποψη της μια λύση θα πρέπει να συμπεριλαμβάνει περικοπή του χρέους, καμία μείωση στις συντάξεις και ένα επενδυτικό πρόγραμμα. Η χρηματοδότηση του θα πρέπει να εξασφαλιστεί με έκτακτη εισφορά των 600 πιο πλουσίων οικογενειών της χώρας. Ως πρότυπο ανέφερε το γερμανικό παράδειγμα μετά το τέλος του Β΄ Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου. Με τον ειδικό νόμο για τον «επιμερισμό των βαρών» (Lastenausgleichsgesetz) οι πιο εύποροι γερμανοί έπρεπε να εισφέρουν το 50% της περιουσίας τους.

Υπέρ μιας συντεταγμένης εξόδου της Ελλάδας από το ευρώ

Το ηγετικό στέλεχος του κόμματος «Η Αριστερά» δεν πιστεύει, πάντως, ότι οι δανειστές επιδιώκουν πράγματι έξοδο της Ελλάδας από το ευρώ. Όχι μόνο επειδή κανείς δεν είναι σε θέση να εκτιμήσει με σιγουριά τις επιπτώσεις ενός Grexit στη συνοχή της ευρωζώνης. Το βέβαιο είναι όμως ότι σε περίπτωση πτώχευσης η Ελλάδα θα επιστρέψει μόνο ένα κλάσμα του χρέους της. Για τη Γερμανία το Grexit θα σήμαινε σε μια πρώτη φάση απώλειες της τάξεως των 60 δισ. ευρώ. Η καγκελάριος θα έπρεπε να εξηγήσει στους Γερμανούς την αποτυχία της πολιτικής της. Πέραν αυτού υπάρχει και κάτι άλλο που εξηγεί τη στάση της καγκελαρίου: η Άγκελα Μέρκελ έχει κατά νου και την υστεροφημία της. Με κανένα τρόπο δεν θα ήθελε να μείνει στην ιστορία ως η πολιτικός που διέλυσε την ευρωζώνη. Αυτοί είναι, κατά την κ. Βάγκενκνεχτ, οι βασικοί λόγοι για τις προσπάθειες που καταβάλει η καγκελάριος ώστε να παραμείνει η Ελλάδα στο ευρώ και όχι κάποια «συμπάθεια με τον ΣΥΡΙΖΑ». Σε ότι αφορά τη σχέση Μέρκελ-Σόιμπλε, η πολιτικός του κόμματος «Η Αριστερά» πιστεύει ότι «πράγματι υπάρχουν διαφορές» και ότι οι δύο δεν παίζουν το παιχνίδι «καλός μπάτσος, κακός μπάτσος». Ο υπουργός Οικονομικών όντος ακολουθεί μια σκληρή πολιτική σε ό,τι αφορά την τήρηση αυστηρών δημοσιονομικών κανόνων.

Η ίδια πάντως, είναι της άποψης ότι για την Ελλάδα «η συντεταγμένη έξοδος από το ευρώ θα ήταν μια λογική λύση». Προϋπόθεση όμως αυτής της εναλλακτικής είναι η στήριξη ενός νέου ελληνικού νομίσματος από την ΕΚΤ ώστε να μην υποτιμηθεί περισσότερο από 30%. Μεγαλύτερη υποτίμηση θα το καθιστούσε ασθενές νόμισμα, κάτι που θα ήταν ολότελα καταστροφικό για την ελληνική οικονομία. Στο ερώτημα κατά πόσο η ΕΚΤ θα θελήσει να συμβάλει στην επιτυχία ενός τέτοιου εγχειρήματος, η Ζάρα Βάγκενκνεχτ παραδέχεται ότι «αυτό δεν είναι καθόλου σίγουρο».

Η κ. Βάγκενκνεχτ που στην τελευταία ψηφοφορία για την παράταση του ελληνικού προγράμματος είχε ψηφίσει λευκό, σε αντίθεση με τη θετική ψήφο της πλειοψηφίας της κοινοβουλευτικής της ομάδας αφήνει ανοιχτό ποια θα είναι η στάση της όταν κατατεθεί μια συμφωνία Ελλάδας-Θεσμών στο κοινοβούλιο. Δεν αποκλείει όμως να την υπερψηφίσει όπως και ένα τρίτο δανειακό πακέτο σε περίπτωση που «πρόκειται πράγματι για βοήθεια».

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that.
