"There is no alternative" είχε πει κάποτε η Σιδηρά Κυρία του νεοφιλελευθερισμού στη Βρετανία. Με το "δεν υπάρχει εναλλακτική" ανατράφηκαν ολόκληρες γενιές που έμαθαν στα έτοιμα: έτοιμο φαγητό, έτοιμη κουλτούρα, έτοιμος τρόπος ζωής, έτοιμη ιδεολογία. Ένας έτοιμος κόσμος που απλά τον βρήκαν και τον υιοθέτησαν, χωρίς να διανοηθούν να τον αλλάξουν.

Πολιτικά παιδιά της Θάτσερ, οι σημερινοί Ευρωπαίοι "ηγέτες", κατάφεραν να μετατρέψουν την Ευρώπη σε μια χρηματοπιστωτική δικτατορία. Αφού διέλυσαν επί πέντε χρόνια την οικονομία μιας χώρας, σε συνεργασία με τη μαφία του ΔΝΤ και του εγχώριου διεφθαρμένου πολιτικού συστήματος, την έφεραν σε σημείο να εξαρτάται, ως ναρκομανής, από τις δόσεις ρευστότητας του κάθε Ντράγκι. Πλέον το κάνουν απροκάλυπτα, κλείνουν τη στρόφιγγα της ρευστότητας, απέναντι σε μια κυβέρνηση που τόλμησε να διανοηθεί να αμφισβητήσει τις βάρβαρες, καταστροφικές πολιτικές τους.

Παπαγαλίζουν διαρκώς ότι "εμείς στην Ευρώπη όταν διαφωνούμε συζητάμε", ενώ από πίσω στέλνουν τελεσίγραφα και εκβιάζουν. Υποκριτές μέχρι το κόκκαλο. Αδίστακτοι, νεοφιλελεύθεροι Μακιαβελιστές. Διδάσκουν τρόπους καλής συμπεριφοράς, την ίδια ώρα που χρηματίζονται από την πλουτοκρατία για να εξοντώνουν ολόκληρους λαούς.

Οι εγχώριοι καλοπληρωμένοι υπάλληλοι της πλουτοκρατίας, μας λένε κατάμουτρα και με θράσος "there is no alternative". Παραδέχονται με έναν απίστευτο κυνισμό, που και αυτόν τον βρήκαν έτοιμο, ότι "τι να κάνουμε, έτσι είναι αυτοί οι Ευρωπαίοι, σκληροί και αδίστακτοι" και άρα "there is no alternative", πρέπει να υποταχθούμε.

Τα σκυλιά του συστήματος ουρλιάζουν από το πρωί μέχρι το βράδυ, σπέρνουν πανικό, εκβιάζουν. Κάτι πρέπει να σημαίνει αυτό. Ότι φοβούνται μην γκρεμιστεί η διεφθαρμένη αυτοκρατορία τους. Φοβούνται την απόφαση του λαού. Βεβαίως, επειδή έχουν με τους δανειστές κοινό μέτωπο και την μηχανή που τυπώνει λεφτά, θα συνεχίσουν τον σκληρό πόλεμο μέχρι να πέσει ο Τσίπρας και να φέρουν πάλι στην εξουσία τις διάφορες μαριονέτες τους. Το'χαμε γράψει πολλές φορές σ'αυτό το μπλογκ πριν ακόμα αναλάβει την εξουσία ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ.

Όλα τώρα είναι ξεκάθαρα, δεν πρέπει να έχουμε αυταπάτες. Ή θα αποφασίσουμε να πολεμήσουμε σκληρά για να νικήσουμε και να μεταδώσουμε το μήνυμα στην Ευρώπη, ή, θα παραδοθούμε άνευ όρων. Έχουμε όμως και ένα μεγάλο πλεονέκτημα στον πόλεμο: μια κυβέρνηση που αποδείχθηκε ότι είναι δική μας και όχι μαριονέτα της Ευρωπαϊκής πλουτοκρατίας και των εγχώριων νταβατζήδων.

Λέω λοιπόν ξεκάθαρα ότι εγώ τρέμω το "ναι" γιατί θα φέρει τον χειρότερο εφιάλτη μου: την υποταγή μου στην απόλυτη σκλαβιά και την εξόντωσή μου.

Πώς είναι δυνατόν να αποδεχθούμε κάτι τέτοιο; Τι μήνυμα θα στείλουμε στους άλλους Ευρωπαϊκούς λαούς που στέκονται αλληλέγγυοι με διαδηλώσεις σε όλη την Ευρώπη, γιατί ξέρουν ότι έρχεται η δική τους σειρά, βιώνοντας ήδη σκληρά μέτρα λιτότητας; Θα τους πούμε έτσι απλά ότι παραδοθήκαμε; Ότι παραιτηθήκαμε από την ελπίδα; Ότι σκύψαμε το κεφάλι και περιμένουμε τους δημίους μας; There is no alternative: ΟΧΙ.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique.
