Ευτυχώς που υπάρχει ο Παύλος Τσίμας

Την Τρίτη το βράδυ ο Γιάνης Βαρουφάκης παραχώρησε συνέντευξη στον Αλέξη Παπαχελά και στην εκπομπή «Ιστορίες» του τηλεοπτικού σταθμού ΣΚΑΪ. Ανάμεσα σε άλλα ο πρώην υπουργός αναφέρθηκε και στην προετοιμασία της κυβέρνησης στην περίπτωση που η Τρόικα εξωθούσε την διαπραγμάτευση στα όρια και στο κλείσιμο των ελληνικών τραπεζών αλλά και στην προετοιμασία ενός «εκθετικού σχεδίου» σε περίπτωση GREXIT το οποίο ονόμασε «Plan X» ως απάντηση στο «Plan Z» της ΕΚΤ. Ε, λοιπόν, ο Παύλος Τσίμας στην αποφώνηση ένιωσε την ανάγκη να ευχαριστήσει τον Γιάννη Δραγασάκη που δεν άφησε τον Βαρουφάκη να προχωρήσει «στους σχεδιασμούς του».

Η δαιμονοποίηση της σύνταξης οποιουδήποτε εναλλακτικού σχεδίου πέραν του μνημονίου φαίνεται ότι έχει ανατεθεί εργολαβικά στους «συστημικούς» δημοσιογράφους, όπως ο Παύλος Τσίμας. Ο Γιάννης Πρετεντέρης άλλωστε το έχει παραδεχτεί λέγοντας ότι γνώριζε από χρόνια ότι το πρόγραμμα δεν έβγαινε αλλά αναγκαζόταν να λέει ψέματα στον ελληνικό λαό για να μην καταρρεύσει. Όποιος τολμούσε να προτείνει οτιδήποτε άλλο ήταν οπωσδήποτε τρελός, όπως για παράδειγμα ο Κώστας Λαπαβίτσας, ο οποίος παρουσιαζόταν ως καθηγητής «Ασιατικών Σπουδών» για να επιτευχθεί η αποδόμηση του έργου του ως οικονομολόγου. Αντίθετα «προσωπικότητες» όπως αυτή του Βασίλη Λεβέντη, που ήταν έτοιμοι να υποστηρίξουν το μονόδρομο του μνημονίου βρήκαν μια ζεστή θέση στα στούντιο των καταχρεωμένων τηλεοπτικών σταθμών.

Λίγη ώρα μόλις μετά την συνέντευξη Βαρουφάκη τα πρωτοσέλιδα όλων των συστημικών ΜΜΕ επικεντρώνονται και πάλι στο «Plan X» και στις ηχογραφήσεις των Eurogroup. Επικεντρώνονται δηλαδή στα δύο ανούσια και αυτονόητα: α) στην απόλυτα φυσιολογική προετοιμασία μιας κυβέρνησης για όλα τα ενδεχόμενα και β) στο δικαίωμα του καθενός να ηχογραφεί για προσωπική χρήση τις συνομιλίες του (αφού καμία διαρροή σχετικού ηχητικού δεν έχει υπάρξει και άρα κανείς δεν μπορεί -μέχρι στιγμής τουλάχιστον- να αμφισβητήσει τη νομιμότητα της πράξης του).

Και επειδή τα ελληνικά ΜΜΕ έχουν την τάση να κάνουν και ένα βήμα παραπάνω διαβάζω σε αρκετές ιστοσελίδες ότι ο Βαρουφάκης εισηγήθηκε στον Αλέξη Τσίπρα την εφαρμογή του «Plan X» το βράδυ της επιβολής των Capital Controls, κάτι που είναι απόλυτα ψευδές. Δεν φαίνεται κανένας αρχισυντάκτης να αγχώνεται με την ύπαρξη του ίδιου του βίντεο στο οποίο ο πρώην υπουργός οικονομικών αναφέρει σαφώς ότι η εισήγησή του αφορούσε το κούρεμα των ομολόγων της ΕΚΤ που είχε στη διάθεσή της η ελληνική κυβέρνηση (27 δισ.) και στην ενεργοποίηση του Συστήματος Παράλληλων Πληρωμών που δεν είχε καμία σχέση με το σχέδιο αντιμετώπισης μιας εξόδου από το ευρώ.

Σκοπός μου εδώ δεν είναι να αξιολογήσω την ίδια την συνέντευξη του Γιάνη Βαρουφάκη και τις απαντήσεις που έδωσε. Θα έρθει η ώρα να γίνει και αυτό. Ωστόσο ένιωσα και εγώ με τη σειρά μου την ανάγκη να ευχαριστήσω τον Παύλο Τσίμα γιατί με τα σχόλιά του εδώ και πολύ καιρό έχει συμβάλει τα μέγιστα στην απαξίωση του συστήματος της δημοσιογραφίας που υπηρετεί. Ο Τσίμας, ο Παπαχελάς, ο Πρετεντέρης, η Κοσιώνη, ο Πορτοσάλτε, ο Παπαδημητρίου, η Τρέμη και όλοι οι φίλοι τους είναι πλέον αναξιόπιστοι αλλά όπως και στο περιβόητο παραμύθι είναι οι μόνοι που δεν καταλαβαίνουν ότι κυκλοφορούν γυμνοί μπροστά στους τηλεθεατές τους.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. According to the German newspaper Bild, SYRIZA appears with heavy losses with a percentage of 28%.
