Κούλογλου: Ίσως χρειαζόμαστε ένα ναυάγιο για να αλλάξει η Ευρώπη

Τις συνέπειες του Brexit, το πολιτικό κλίμα που έχει διαμορφωθεί στην Ευρώπη αλλά και την κατάσταση στην Ελλάδα, την Ισπανία, τη Γαλλία και την Πορτογαλία συζήτησαν για το κανάλι της γαλλικής εφημερίδας HUMANITE ο ευρωβουλευτής του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, Στέλιος Κούλογλου, ο Γάλλος ευρωβουλευτής των Σοσιαλιστών Εντουάρ Μαρτάν και ο Φλοράν Μαρσελεζί, εκπρόσωπος στο Ευρωκοινοβούλιο της παράταξης των Ισπανών Πρασίνων EQUO, που συνασπίστηκε με τους Ποδέμος και την Ενωμένη Αριστερά στις πρόσφατες εκλογές στην Ισπανία.

“Είναι πλέον ξεκάθαρο ότι η ΕΕ δεν είναι ελκυστική όπως παλιά. Οι κοινωνικές καταστάσεις και τα κεκτημένα μετά τον πόλεμο που έκαναν την ΕΕ ελκυστική, απειλούνται και περιορίζονται σε πολλές χώρες. Το βλέπουμε αυτό και στη Γαλλία με τον νόμο για τα εργασιακά. Η δημοκρατία επίσης δεν λειτουργεί, το είδαμε και αυτό με τους Έλληνες, που ψήφισαν δυο τρεις φορές για να αλλάξουν πολιτική, σεβόμενοι τους κανόνες. Τι γίνεται τώρα; Νομίζω οτι είναι ξεκάθαρο ότι για τις άλλες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες, ειδικά για τη Γαλλία, τη γαλλική κυβέρνηση, τον κύριο Ολάντ ότι το Brexit είναι η τελευταία ευκαιρία να αλλάξουν το πολιτικό πλαίσιο, να ξεκινήσει σε άλλη βάση η πολιτική εκστρατεία για τις προεδρικές εκλογές. Είμαι όμως απογοητευμένος και έκπληκτος από τις αντιδράσεις γιατί νομίζω ότι κανένας στο ΕΚ δεν θέλει να καταλάβει τι έγινε. Είναι όπως ο Τιτανικός που πάει πάνω στο παγόβουνο, την ώρα που ο καπετάνιος Σόιμπλε και η ομάδα του χορεύουν στην γέφυρα.”

“Εγώ περίμενα ότι η επομένη του Brexit, θα ήταν μια σοβαρή προειδοποίηση για την Ευρώπη, για να αλλάξει πολιτική. Αλλά όπως είπα και νωρίτερα, είμαι πραγματικά απογοητευμένος. Δε βλέπω καμία διέξοδο. Βλέπω το καράβι να πηγαίνει κατευθείαν στα βράχια. Ίσως να χρειαζόμαστε ένα ναυάγιο, δεν ξέρω. Για να ξυπνήσει ο κόσμος, για να αλλάξει η ηγεσία, να αλλάξει η πολιτική. Θέλουμε φυσικά να κάνουμε συμμαχίες να έχουμε δεσμούς με προοδευτικές δυνάμεις, με τους σοσιαλιστές και την παραδοσιακή αριστερά, τη νέα αριστερά με τους Ποδέμος, για να αλλάξουμε την κατάσταση.”
