Hay casi 30 mil desaparecidos en México desde 2006

México debe crear "un sistema nacional de búsqueda de personas desaparecidas como las víctimas lo exigen”, indica una organización de derechos humanos.

La Comisión Mexicana de Defensa y Promoción de los Derechos Humanos (CMDPDH) informó este viernes que el Registro Nacional de Personas Extraviadas o Desaparecidas contabiliza a más de 28 mil 161 personas desaparecidas en México, desde el 2006 cuando inició la llamada "guerra contra el narcotráfico".

“Hoy, personas sin militancia social o política están siendo víctimas de desaparición forzada; las causas y razones no son claras, ninguna autoridad ha podido dar una explicación, más de allá de los discursos negacionistas o estigmatizantes de las víctimas”, indicó el organismo en un análisis.
En el texto señalan que en México no existen investigaciones dedicadas a conocer la verdad sobre las víctimas de desapariciones forzadas y el contexto en el que ocurre este crimen, esto impide que "las instituciones puedan hacer frente y cumplir con sus obligaciones en materia de justicia".

“Estamos convencidos que México debe instrumentar una política de justicia de transición de hechos violatorios de derechos humanos, así como un sistema nacional de búsqueda de personas desaparecidas como las víctimas lo exigen”, demanda el análisis de la Comisión Mexicana de Defensa y Promoción de los Derechos Humanos.

El organismo emprendió la campaña No Olvidamos, que durará tres meses y recibe apoyo financiero de la Unión Europea (UE), para informar sobre los alcances y consecuencias de la desaparición forzada en México, “dimensionando la realidad que muchos no han querido ver: su impunidad sistemática”.

Este viernes, el representante en México de la Oficina del Alto Comisionado de Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos, Jan Jarab, señaló que las escasas acciones del Gobierno mexicano para enfrentar las desapariciones forzadas han fracasado.

Acotó que los organismos internacionales le han presentado a México más de 200 recomendaciones en materia de Derechos Humanos.

Sin embargo, "no hemos podido evitar que la desaparición de personas se haya convertido en este país en una situación aparentemente normal para muchas instituciones".
