'The US Congress must stop the war crimes in Afghanistan'

WikiLeaks released part one of the AKP Emails. AKP, or the Justice & Development Party, is the ruling party of Turkey and is the political force behind the country's president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Part one of the series covers 762 mail boxes beginning with 'A' through to 'I' containing 294,548 email bodies together with many thousands of attached files. The emails come from "akparti.org.tr", the AKP's primary domain. The most recent was sent on July 6, 2016. The oldest dates back to 2010. It should be noted that emails associated with the domain are mostly used for dealing with the world, as opposed to the most sensitive internal matters.

In the archive, there is a letter with date April 18, 2016 from Kadir A. Mohmand to the Members of the US Congress, calling them to take actions in order to stop the US war crimes and human rights violations in Afghanistan. It would be interesting to see some key points:

  • I strongly believe that the United States government soldiers, and “selected” house slaves, the Afghan puppet administration, cannot fight the Afghans Freedom Fighters themselves on the ground so the U.S. is resorting to bombardment, drones, and mercenaries against Afghan civilians, the villagers, and terrorizing innocent Afghans in order to try to hold back the Afghan Freedom Fighters. The U.S. is using Afghans to kill Afghans.

  • The genocide, massacring, torturing, raping and slaughtering of several hundred thousand innocent Afghan villagers in Kunduz, Helmand and other Pashtun areas are war crimes and human rights violations. Genocide of the Pashtun villagers is being documented. If you look at the definition of terrorism, I believe the U.S. government and its selected agents and mercenaries are the real terrorists, who have terrorized and are terrorizing the Afghan civilians, especially in the villages. I believe you, the United States Congress, needs to start calling for an investigation of these war crimes and end this war.

  • I strongly believe that the U.S. government does not support Afghanistan's sovereignty as it illegally invaded it in 2001 and continues to occupy Afghanistan with its military bases, its 9,500 troops, its numerous CIA paramilitary forces, and the hundreds of thousands of private security contractors and mercenaries on the ground, who are paid with United States' funds.

  • It is pretty obvious that the United States not only “selected” the Afghan puppet leaders but controls them. According to Kerry, the “selected” government will continue and there will be no elections in 6 months or two years. This type of government is not of the Afghan people, by the Afghan people and for the Afghan people. It is a “selected” administration of the U.S. and its war profiteers, by the U.S. and its war profiteers and for the U.S. and its war profiteers for the purpose of implementing U.S policy.

  • Why is the U.S. government occupying Afghanistan? It is not about supporting its independence or sovereignty. It is not about caring for the Afghan people. It is not about terrorism, al-Qaede or Daesh. Afghanistan is not responsible for the tragic events of 9/11. The U.S. government's 28 classified pages, which were referred to recently in the media and recent lawsuits ,are pointing to Saudi Arabia. Yet the U.S. government chose to invade and occupy Afghanistan. I think it is time that the U.S. government reveal why it is really in Afghanistan. It is all about the vast untapped Rare Earth Elements (REEs) in Afghanistan especially in the Pashtun areas such as Helmand and about relocating its outer defense perimeter to Central Asia with Afghanistan at the heart. The U.S. Pentagon referred to Afghanistan as the “Saudi Arabia of lithium...”

  • The invasion and occupation of Afghanistan is really about the U.S. and NATO having direct access and control over Afghanistan's vast untapped Rare Earth Elements (REEs), which are worth trillions. These REEs are vital to the manufacture of technology and defense systems. The U.S. sent down geologists with special operations forces into the REE deposits of the Helmand region at the start of the invasion. The U.S. even knew about these REEs deposits before the war. I believe control of the REEs is the real reason for the invasion, continued occupation and covert war and genocide against the Afghan villagers.

  • Congress must stop funding this ugly, non-winnable war in Afghanistan and its greedy war profiteers. Congress must stop these war crimes against the Afghan villagers, who have suffered enough these past four decades.

“Russia & China Preparing For War With The US!”

The Jimmy Dore Show   Colonel Douglas Macgregor explains that as a result of recent military conflicts, Russia, China, and Iran have become allies, and that Beijing and Moscow have concluded that "if we let Iran fail, we're next on the menu" from what he describes as a "rogue state led by a rogue personality," meaning they will intervene to prevent Iran's collapse if the US threatens it. He tells Jimmy Dore that Putin called Trump for an hour and a half to make it clear that a military campaign in Iran would not succeed and would make the situation much worse, offering to store Iran's enriched uranium as a diplomatic gesture. Macgregor warns that if the US restarts the war, China could send 40 or 50 surface combatants and submarines to the Indian Ocean, and Russia could fly MiG-31s into Iranian airspace — not to provoke a direct confrontation but to "make a point." He concludes that the British Empire overreached and overextended with World War...

US Warships Under Fire: Iran Hits Back & Blasts UAE

MintPress News  "PROJECT FREEDOM." Trump calls it humanitarian aid. We call it what he already admitted it is: piracy. On Friday, Trump boasted that US forces seizing Iranian ships and oil were "sort of like pirates, but we are not playing games."  By Sunday, he had rebranded the blockade as "Project Freedom"—a military escort operation to guide ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Today, that operation went live: 15,000 US troops, guided-missile destroyers, and over 100 aircraft are enforcing American "freedom" at gunpoint. Let's be clear: Washington didn't enter the Strait to defend commerce. It entered to monopolize commerce—to maintain imperial control over the world's oil arteries and strangle Iran's economy.  Iran knows this. That's why closing the Strait and establishing its own transit protocols remains its strongest card in the fight for self-determination. When Trump confessed to piracy, he wasn't joking. He was c...

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events. The following is a brief response to Ellsberg’s main points from someone who lives in Nicaragua and has observed the situation directly and intimately: https://grayzoneproject.com/2018/08/15/a-res...

Οι ιδιώτες 'επενδυτές' ως η μόνη επιλογή για ανάκαμψη: άλλο ένα παραμύθι του νεοφιλελέ κατεστημένου

How Western societies lost their faith in Vision

Why people don't rise up massively today? Why there are no real revolutions? How we tolerate all things that have been imposed to us? These questions come up in people's minds more and more often today in Greece and abroad, due to the economic crisis. Some theories are circulated as an answer, among these, explanations which include, for example, the psychosynthesis of modern Greeks, but the truth is that there is something more fundamental behind this passive behaviour and concerns not only Greece, but the entire Western world. by system failure Prior to the beginning of the 20th century, Friedrich Nietzsche declares God's death and Western world will put all its hopes in science. Laplace's Determinism leads to the almighty man, who through science, can find all the answers for the world. Technology, which naturally comes from scientific discoveries, promises prosperity and a better life for the majority. Science becomes the central "pylon...

Billionaires are social distancing in super yachts as tens of millions lose jobs

Everyday, it becomes clearer: the COVID-19 pandemic is hitting poor, working, and marginalized communities the hardest. Millions of workers – especially low-wage retail, food service, hospitality, and care workers – have faced the terrible choice daily between going to work and risking their health, or staying home and risking their paychecks. Many other workers don’t even have that choice, with around 30 million people in the US filing for unemployment in the past six weeks. But billionaires don’t face these same problems. As tens of millions have lost their jobs over the past two months, billionaire wealth soared by a whopping $282 billion between March 18 and April 10, according to a new study from the Institute for Policy Studies.  And while finding enough space to wait out the pandemic is something many struggle with, billionaires have been escaping to their second (or third, or fourth) homes to ride it out in luxury – all while they position themselves to ...

Iran’s Secret Weapon: The Undersea Cables That Could Shake the Global Economy

GVS Deep Dive   Iran’s pressure over the Strait of Hormuz may no longer be limited to oil tankers, naval routes, and energy prices. New reports suggest Tehran is considering control over undersea internet cables passing through Hormuz, potentially requiring permits, fees, Iranian law, and Iranian companies for repair and maintenance. This video breaks down why the Strait of Hormuz is not only an oil chokepoint, but also a digital chokepoint connecting Europe, the Gulf, and Asia. Beneath the waters that carry global energy flows are fiber-optic cables carrying banking data, cloud services, AI traffic, telecom networks, financial messaging, and e-commerce. If Iran turns Hormuz into a digital leverage point, the consequences could reach far beyond the Gulf.
